Quality Manager
We are now recruiting for a Quality Manager to join our busy Quality team.
The main purpose of this role will be:
- Responsible for leading and co-ordinating internal and external
- Continuous Improvement activities including Non-Conformances
- and Customer Complaints/Returns
- Ensuring a consistent/detailed approach using Root Cause Analysis
- and Problem-Solving Tools such as 8D or 5Whys
- Improving quality in line with customer expectations and industry
- standards
- Carrying out inspection duties as and when necessary
The main requirements and employee accountabilities are:
- Understand customer requirements and industry best practice to
- help develop a strategy for improving the quality of all products
- Lead co-ordinate root cause analysis of quality issues relating to
- manufactured product, purchased parts and customer complaints
- to install permanent solutions and prevent re-occurrence
- To own the RMA process, ensuring that customer feedback and
- fulfilment is driven to the highest standards of service
- To manage the administration of the internal quality process (NCR,

- Working as a hands on member of the Quality team to deliver the
- required outcomes
- Assist with supplier selection through robust qualification
- processes, inclusive of aligning process capabilities and ensuring

The essential skills/experience required for this role are:
- Experience in the use of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques
- Structured, organised approach to work providing a consisted/detail approach to problem solving
- Five years’ experience working in a similar manufacturing environment and possess a good understanding of using Quality and Process management tools and methodology, including 5S/6S, flowcharts, VSM, Kaizen, Pareto, QCPC, 8D, Cause & Effect, Ishikawa, 5 whys etc
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Using CMM or Faro Arm devices and a range of metrology equipment typically used in machine shop environments
- Previous experience of working in vacuum science would be advantageous
Required Qualifications:
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer
- Qualified to ONC/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing or relevant Quality professional qualification

Senior Product Engineer
We are now recruiting for a Senior Product Engineer responsible for one or more of our product ranges to be an integral part of the Engineering team ensuring our products are delivered on time, to specification and within budget and to the best DFMA principles.
Have you got demonstrable experience in CAD Design / Drawing and using this to provide manufacturing engineering support?
Are you great at project costing, quotation and root cause analysis?
Do you have a background in design engineering and experience in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA)?
The main purpose of this role will be:
- To lead key NPI projects and contribute to others
- To be an integral part of the Engineering team ensuring our products are developed and delivered on time, to specification, within budget and to the best DFMA principles

- Ensure up to date drawings are available in manufacturing

CUSTOM DESIGN
- Provide engineering support for quotations and technical inquiries
- Provide timely production engineering support for custom orders to agreed deadlines
QUALITY
- Identify and deliver on opportunities to improve quality through redesign/production engineering

PEOPLE AND BUDGET

Production Engineer
We are now recruiting for a Product Engineer responsible for one or more of our product ranges to be an integral part of the Engineering team ensuring our products are delivered on time, to specification and within budget and to the best DFMA principles.
The main purpose of this role will be:
- Assist in the NPI process and to help oversee our manufacturing processes
- Carry out root cause analysis and maintain the 8D/RMA system
- Ensure best practice and health and safety codes are followed
- Identify problems in the production line, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and completing various administrative tasks
The main requirements and employee accountabilities are:
- Leading and carrying out 8D/RMA activities while maintaining the 8D/RMA process within Engineering
- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitoring the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner
